Notes from the Principal:
Happy Friday!!
Next week is only a two-day week. We will be working on the following topics:
ELA: We will continue traveling around the world this week, visiting Greece and Germany! Students will learn about the different holiday customs and traditions. Each day will consist of finding the country on a world map, a mimio lesson, a craft, and a journal writing. In addition there will be holiday stories, edible art projects, and holiday games that originate from the countries we are focusing on. We will continue reading The BFG by Roald Dahl that ties right into our unit on sound.
Math: We will continue spiraling through Saxon working on measuring and reading a recipe...to MAKE COOKIES!! :-)
Science: We will continue our unit on sound! Look for the Sound Tic-Tac-Toe project to come home today. There is a copy of the project linked to the documents tab.
