Next week we will be working on the following topics:
ELA: This week we begin our 7th lesson in Journeys, focusing on drawing conclusions and analyzing/evaluating. We will work on proper nouns and homophones. This week our phonics focus will be on double consonants and /ck/. We will also continue our Roald Dahl book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, that ties right into our science unit on matter.
Math: We will continue spiraling through our Saxon math, focusing specifically on attributes, time to the half hour, estimating temperature, and reading a thermometer. We will also take an assessment this week.
Science: We will continue in our matter unit, focusing on physical and chemical changes. Friday we hope to have an awesome last day of experiments!!
